Blood Fingerprints/Depletion Series Experiments (4/6/23)

In my Physical Development class, we actually did do a fair bit of experimentation, including two big experiments on the 6th of April. I had never made my own depletion series before, but it was pretty fun and, importantly, invaluable as an experience. This is the same technique I would use when putting together my Amido Black 10B depletion series.

Now, you'll see-- I mentioned in the post where I introduced my "Index Cards" label that there is such thing as fingerprinting cards. These are the cards I was talking about: lift cards. These are the more medium-sized ones. I did also, at the time, have cards that were more index card-sized; and I had two larger sizes (both of which I keep in my kit, which is at the foot of my bed, right where I need it to be). Typically, you would fill out each of the necessary items of information pertaining to where you lifted the fingerprint from on the side displayed here, while setting your lift (usually lifted with tape) on the back. Here, we were experimenting with blood and deposition, so the information about who, what, why, and what case wasn't necessary.

(Also, yes, past me: finger 10 is your left pinkie. Very good. You should have known that. Why did you put down a question mark?)
